Qualifications:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: Will train
Responsibilities:
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment
- Read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications
- Examine welds to ensure they meet standards
- Operate flame-cutting equipment and metal shaping machines
- Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal
- Determine weldability of materials
Experience and Specialization:
- Proficient in gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and TIG
- Specializes in stainless steel welding
Work Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment, attention to detail required
- Overtime may be required
