We are seeking a Laser / CNC Operator, this is a full-time position. We are looking for someone with fantastic communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
✓ Operate and maintain laser cutting equipment.
✓ Ensure high standards of finishing quality are achieved across all applications.
✓ Responsible for timely and correct finishing output of all assigned jobs from the docket.
✓ Able to prioritize and adapt finishing queues throughout the production schedule to meet all deadlines.
✓ Responsible for maintenance and proper logging of cleaning procedures.
✓ Maintain laser operating standards throughout production.
✓ Must have high attention to detail, as well as speed and accuracy.
✓ Maintain safe working conditions around the machine with regard to equipment.
✓ Will be working with print room staff to help load and unload print equipment, including heat press sublimation.
✓ Will be assisting with finishing departments to complete orders when the volume is high.
Responsibilities of Position:
✓ Monitors machine maintenance and alerts management of any supplies needed for continued operation.
✓ Ensures proper distribution and direction of cut items to correct locations in the facility.
✓ Follows directions from the graphics manager.
✓ Works under minimum supervision.
✓ Ability to review work orders and determine the correct cut file to produce the required results.
✓ Completes work within the expected period of time.
✓ Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
✓ Requests assistance on anything over 40lbs.
✓ Communicate to management any issues that may impact the ability to meet a deadline or jeopardize the quality of the product or relationship with the customer.
✓ Work efficiently on all assigned tasks to contribute to reduced lead times.
✓ Proactively move to other areas of the warehouse when work station is free from orders, complete requests from management that may be outside of your normal daily duties
✓ Participate in cross-training as requested.
