PASTRY CHEF

We are looking for a pastry chef to join our team in Vaughan
A pastry chef is responsible for creating cakes, desserts, cookies and other baked goods.

Responsibilities:

Create cakes, bakery and confectionery products following an established recipe.
Decorating cakes and desserts to ensure a beautiful and tasteful presentation.
Work with the executive chef to develop the menu, bakery, and confectionery offerings.
Producing large volumes of products, creating new pastry ideas and decorating cakes professionally and creatively.
Inspecting raw materials before use
Handle bakery and other kitchen equipment.
Control stocks of pastry ingredients.
Maintained brand and quality standards in retail outlets with presence during peak hours of operations.
Follow strict health and safety protocols.

Requirements

Certificate in culinary arts, pastry, bakery or relevant field (preferred).
Excellent level of English
Own car
Two or more years of experience working in the food industry as a pastry chef, baker, or relevant function.
Working knowledge of baking tech
