Delivery has been and is being a lifesaver for many gastronomic establishments. When the state of alarm was decreed, restaurants and bars were forced to close, only kitchens with home delivery were authorized to continue operating. Faced with the crisis, many restaurateurs began to wonder what delivery service is. More than the definition, the real concern was about how to install this modality in their businesses.
It is essential that the personnel in charge of deliveries are dressed with appropriate equipment to ensure the safety of employees and customers. Safety protocols for deliveries have been suggested and must be followed, and distribution companies already have these guidelines in place. Restaurants that opt for delivery at their own expense should prepare their employees for this.
