Qualifications Needed:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in business analysis or a related position
Responsibilities:
- Confer with clients to identify requirements and document technical specifications to ensure products and solutions meet business needs.
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support system implementation.
- Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions.
- Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.
- Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware.
- Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.
- Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices and software products.
- Execute and document results of software application tests and telecommunications systems tests.
- Write, modify, integrate, and test software code, including for e-commerce and other Internet applications.
- Manage incidents and execute full lifecycle software development.
Experience and Specialization:
- Computer and Technology Knowledge:
- Proficient in Agile, DevOps, Jira, PowerBuilder, XML, ASP.NET, Java, SQL, Angular.js, Python, and .NET.
- Familiar with EDI, API, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Areas of Specialization:
- Business process management, Scrum, and business methods analysis.
