Qualifications Required:
- Education: College, CEGEP, or non‑university certificate/diploma (1–2 years)
- Experience: 2 to <3 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate access and use of computer networks
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, workstations, and peripherals
- Monitor performance of computer systems and networks
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software
- Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating systems
- Provide problem‑solving services to network users
- Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
- Perform routine network start‑up and shutdown operations and maintain control records
- Set up LANs and Internet connections
- Implement network traffic and security monitoring tools and optimize server performance
Working Conditions:
